On what day did the ​“House of the Lord” burn down ?

Was it on the sev­enth day or on the tenth day ? Accord­ing to 2 Kings 25:8 – 9, the ​“House of the Lord” was burnt down on the sev­enth day of the month :

“And in the fifth month, on the sev­enth day of the month … burned the house of the Lord.” 

Yet, we are informed in Jere­mi­ah 52:12 – 13 that the tem­ple burned on the tenth day :

“Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month … burned the house of the Lord.” 

No book of God would con­tra­dict itself like this. Refer to our method­ol­o­gy in deter­min­ing the cri­te­ria for a Rev­e­la­tion of God. Hence, based on the above the Bible can­not be from God, reflec­tive of the con­fu­sion in the above passages.
