¿si el yhwh es su propio nombre, después por qué suena judío y por qué utiliza alfabeto hebreo? if yhwh is supposed to be a universal god then why the obsession with israel? why yhwh incarnated in jew form for the jews? why kill innocent non-jews for the crimes of other non-jews? why allow jews to grow up and do WORSER crimes than non-jews in israel (read book of kings)? why this sadist plan to get his own “choosen ones” to get him nailed on a cross?

    Adam,

I suggest you to go back to your Christianity classes; even better seek for an Islamic class :-)

When I was an undergraduate, I took a Christianity class called “The Origin of Christianity and the New Testaments”. In the class, there were quite a few Muslim student who took it as an elective. The Bible was one of our reference book used throughout the semester. My theological professor, who was a devoted and pious Christian, surprisingly made a remark in his introduction of the class that he admitted there were some chapters/verses in the Bible contradicting with each other, but he said just accepted them for the sake of the class.

It was a fun class as we treated it just like any other history classes. So we learned the origion of Christianity. Jesus (pbuh) was never the founder of what Christianity is today. It was Paul, who was a shrewd jew, invented Christianity because he wanted people to deviate from the actual teachings of Jesus (pbuh), because he found out Jesus (pbuh) teachings can never benefit him. It took him years to persuade people of his own to embrace his “Chistianity”. His collections of letters, which he had written to Rome etc., later became what nowadays people acknowledge it as the New Testaments or the Bible (read: these were what we used as reference in our class).

The above just a summary. Do research and read dude before making any remarks (Read 3x).

p/s: Your name is a very good name, like our prophet Adam (pbuh). I ask Allah to show you lights to embrace Islam, the way of life. Amin.

An interesting talk. I don’t agree with all of the arguments and statements

    1. Paul as founder of Christianity. Paul was not the founder of Christianity, though it is true that the type of Christianity which he represented ultimately became predominant. Notice that in his epistles Paul cites traditions which were handed down from Christians prior to him. Paul did not invent the claim that Jesus (P) was raised from the dead, for example. Paul inherited certain beliefs concerning Jesus (P) from those who were Christians before him and Paul later added some of his own emphasis upon it.

    2. Gospel of Barnabas. There is no scholar worth the name who regards this gospel to be authentic. This is a mideval forgery.
